I was here for a few beers whilst staying in a local hotel the service was excellent as was the beer the bar area was clean and well presented although I didn't eat anything the menu looked quite varied the only thing about this place is its slap bang in the heart of the red light district with prostitutes hanging around outside but other than that the pub is excellent.
Dating back to The Fittie Bar has a feeling that takes you right back to that period. Although the food is very much of the pub type it is right at the top end of that type and also very affordable, This bar can be very much recommended to the locals aswell as the many visitors to the area.
I was introduced by a friend but will not see past " The Fittie " mostly because of it's quality and because of the staff who are all very warming and welcoming. I met a friend for lunch at this place recently. I originally thought it was an odd choice of venue as it was not located in the mainstream of visitor attractions in Aberdeen. However we were bowled over by the reception and quality of food served. This is a little nugget of a place but some people may be put off visiting it due to its proximity of the busy harbour.
It is certainly worthy of a visit for lunch during the day. Own or manage this property? Claim your listing for free to respond to reviews, update your profile and much more. All of your saved places can be found here in My Trips.
